Well I got my Tax return money and spent it on a Sherman and a Dragon Jeep.  I am not really going to go all out in the building of the Sherman. Just going to get the drivers and co drivers hatches to open and fix the pioneer tools. repaint and weather her. Got the lower hull finished yesterday.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Dave, you are off to a great start with this Sherman. I'm looking forward to seeing more of it as you make progress on it.

Th Upper hull is now attached to the lower hull and the camo is applied. Both the drivers and co drivers hatches open and close. The turret ammo hatch also opens and closes.

Tool cleats are also done too.

I have gotten a lot more done on my new Sherman in the past few weeks and the crew seems to be really happy with all the progress. Most of the markings are now added and the Weathering is mostly complete. He is also now named after my son Anthony. I have also added some supplemental armor to the sides and the pioneer tools are now strapped down. The one thing that has always bothered me about the tank was the Commanders Cupola. Dragon really blew it here. It is too small, mounted backwards and the machine gun mount is missing.
I redid the copula and added a 30 cal Machine gun. from here i will let the pics do all the talking.

Here's the redone copula and MG mount.

Hope everybody likes all the improvements

Very nice job on correcting the cupola error. You detailing, painting and weathering are great, as always!
