Newly aquired Dragon Pak 36!
I have been watching for a Pak 35 for quite a while now, to replace the old polystone one that is missing parts from. Well, I got one for $60.00 with very reasonable shipping. It just came in today's mail. I can't wait to get into this build. I have accumulated three of the 3.7cm Pak 36 ammo cans with many spent and not spent rounds for it as well. I have the gun crew and the Krupp Protze to tow it as well.

I will Ken. I promise. I'm pretty sure that this will be a fairly quick build, compared to a vehicle build. The parts are all here and I don't have to order any additional detail parts.

I am betwixt and between replacing the barrel with one that is more to scale. I have put a round with the projectile end into the muzzle of the barrel and it is about 2MM larger diameter than the projectile is.I'm thinking that I am just going a little bit overboard on this. I should have this finished in the next couple of days, I hope. The wife is working tonight 11-7, so I can't do any priming spray in the house, as she'd have a fit. Let alone painting it.

I decided to not change out the barrel. But on a good note, it IS done and headed for Primer!

Base coat was just painted on and waiting for it to dry.
One of the funny things about this build is that there many sources of photographs and walk a rounds as well. You can add as much, or build it right out of the box. I pretty much left it stock from the box, but, I will be adding the cleaning rods and I also figured out that there is actually a part that is not really needed where the trailing rail;s and spades are hooked on to a towing vehicle. I am going to use one of my two Kruppe Protzes to tow this along with the crew an ammo for the Pak36. I will post photos after the base coat has dried.
