Maureen; My 250/7 neu
I have not really covered this build here. Maureen is my scratch built 250/7 neu. She is about 95% finished. All that's left to do is the seats, Accelerator Asm, Clutch and Brake Pedals, Tail Light, Fire Extinguishers, Caps for all the Road Wheels and paint some ammo boxes. I got the part that I have been Blowing Off for 9 months now "DONE" The seat cushions had to be hand sewn. I HATED THIS PART. Guess that's why it took me so long to finally finish them. I used this type of seat in my 247,251/9 Meg and my 251/10 Lisa. They actually function and won't be broken moving figures in and out. I only used the resin seats in Rana my 250/3-IV alt

Man dude!
Those seat frames look so damn cool!
Its a shame, all that work gets "hidden", but adds so much realism to the model.
Nice job on these!

Re: Maureen; My 250/7 neu
I just got through weathering all three of my 8cm mortars and my 120mm mortar. Of coarse one of the 8cm will be carried in Maureen and as soon as I can come up with the wheels I will make the trailer for the 120mm mortar. However I was trying to figure out a way to carrie the other two 8cm mortars. I came up with bracket asm. to be used for this task . Question, does this look like a little two much for one vehicle and should I scrap the Idea.

No, I think long as you keep it on the outside, it would look cool....?? But, it's really up to YOU, it looks great from what I've seen some far.

I agree, that it looks good. I'm looking at it from another way though 1 crew to man three 8cm mortars? Ammo supply, for three 8cm mortars too? Just a thought of the logistics part. You might give thought to a "section" of these 250/7's with 2 crews dismounted and the last one just arriving. Just a thought.

Another 250/7 and crew would be great, maybe at a later date, but as for now I was just thinking of replacement tubes in case of breakage or combat loss. As for coming up with more figures to man the extra mortars, well that would be nice too. All the figures that I currently have are all assigned to vehicles. I just can't find it in my self to rob from Peter to pay Paul. The one thing that I really need though is AMMO and BOXES. I can pay for those if anybody has any extra they don't need.

This morning before I went to the Museum I finished the last piece of the interior. The Clutch pedal, Brake Pedal and Accelerator are now made and installed. The Accelerator Asm. was made from Brass, it actually works. The Clutch and Brake Pedals were made from brass also. I used the spring from a Bic Pen, just cut it in half to make the pedals go in and out. then installed the asm. back into the drivers compt. Now all that's left to do are the caps for all the road wheels and the tail light asm. Then she will be complete. Still undecided about the brackets for the extra mortars.

That's very nice work on those pedals! Just another level of authenticity for this build! Great work, David!
