drüben! da drüben!

Post by LizardKing1968 on Tue Aug 12, 2014 1:35 am

hello again amigos
i was inspired to do this little dio for my friend, who is a ss-wiking reenactor on FB. used paperclay to sculpt arms and necks. used BGT and NLM mostly.
just finished reading a couple of books on the wiking and the titanic tank battles that ensued east of warsaw during the summer and fall of 1944.
this dio represents the arrival of the panzer jager abt. in late aug./early sept. 1944
anyways here's what i did...

East of Warsaw 1944
SS-Wiking- elements Pz. Jgr. Abt. 5
remmants- Pz. Gr. Rgt. "Germania"

WOW brother!....
Outstanding job!....Everything from the mud, up to the top!
Great weathering, details, and my most fav,... the right hand pose and the ring!
It looks 1:1
again, great job....nice slim figs, with baggy hanging clothes...it just adds to the realism.

 Thumbs Up

Man, you really knocked this one out of the ballpark! I live what you have done with the arms! Great idea and excellent results. As Mike said, "the right hand pose and the ring!". The whole dio is outstanding!
