Gebirgsjager Parka Question
Hi,
I have been searching some forums for a couple of hours today, but i cannot find an answer to my question.
I found in my spares box today a green gebirgsjager parka, the one with the three pockets on the front and two pockets on the back skirt of the parka. The inside of the hood is white, with a thin strip of white material on the bottom inside of the coat.
But what surprised me, was that the adjusters on the sleeves have two metal clips. But there is no label for the maker inside of the parka, so i am trying to find out who made this item?
As i would like to get another two of them if possible, but i don't know what item to try to purchase.
Gary

Re: Gebirgsjager Parka Question
That's the German Her Late war Mountain Parka I believe Gary. I have a book down stairs that I believe has a good pic of it..

Re: Gebirgsjager Parka Question
Gary,
The DiD Hermann Hanke figure has a spring oak camo like the one in the photo. Yes, that was used for their Handschar(mountain troops Bosnia), don't know if that is the right spelling.

Hi,
Many thanks for the replies and information, and dti62 yes you have spelt the word right.
I have a couple of questions i have put to some ebay sellers, who are selling similar anoraks.
To see if they have the metal clips on the sleeves.

Re: Gebirgsjager Parka Question
Say Gary,
If you can't find them with the metal piece, couldn't you make one for them. Like mentioned earlier, they have 7 of them in spring oak camo, that maybe a good ideal making them. ....

Re: Gebirgsjager Parka Question
Hi,
I have also had replies back from the sellers on eBay, and the anorak is not made by Toys City. And with some help from Heeresbergführer, he has said the anorak is from DML's DX'06 VIP Exclusive of Gebirgsjäger Oberjäger Fred Treiber.
So it looks like i will have to see if i can make some buckles myself.
