Re: welcome to 6IXTHinWII
I'm new here, my name is Sonia! just joined today! I watched the weathering video on youtube and voila here I am! I would love to buy a figure so I would like to learn first before I can make a commitment! My goal is to learn fully for my design work. thanks for this great website!
Re: welcome to 6IXTHinWII
Well Sonia, here's a great place to buy figures from. It's called : onesixthdirectory.com, it's an online place where there's nothing but 1/6 stuff. They have figures that are nude, good way to start out in this hobby, then you can buy whatever you need for them. Check it out....
I hope this helps in your search.
You can ask guys here, their very willing and helpful.
Good luck.

Glad to have you join us. Here no question is a stupid or bad one. Have fun. Some of the best builder and figure people are here. I see that you are into Graphic Design, so is my son. He has just been accepted it UCLA for that very same thing. He as a Junior last year wrote a book that is now required reading at O Tech for Juniors and seniors and at Wayne State University for freshmen and sophomores.

Re: welcome to 6IXTHinWII
Oh that's nice congrats to him! it's a fun field, but each one of us has to find a style that makes us different. Like anything I guess. Right now, I'm more focused on my little line of Vintage WWII Hand Painted bags. I used to make all airplanes models with my brothers ( i was the painter and they clued things lol) when we were kids and I'm glad I made the time for this passion again. Work is not the same when it's called work. When it's passion, it has a totally different result! thanks again for the welcome everyone! and by the way Dti62 onesixthdirectory.com is great. I have been looking at things since yesterday.Halftrack1 wrote:Glad to have you join us. Here no question is a stupid or bad one. Have fun. Some of the best builder and figure people are here. Sonia,
I'm really glad that you enjoy it , it's pretty cool to see all that's available in this hobby. Quite sure there is something for everyone. When you get the chance, can you share with us on what you put together.

Great fig & price.
Re: welcome to 6IXTHinWII
That type of figure is one of many good brands, have you looked at other places for a better price. Quality is great also, is this the type of figure you want to work on....??
Re: welcome to 6IXTHinWII
I'm looking on ebay for better prices. I always wanted to have an airborne soldier. I think they are very cool! I will keep on looking and I shall make a decision this week THANK u!
Re: welcome to 6IXTHinWII
Hi,
I will always regret not getting hold of multiples of the Soldier Story Kar 98 rifles, as the detail is very good and the wood allows it to be re-coloured in different ways.
