Sd Kfz 222 Scratch Built

Sd Kfz 222 built from a flat armor lazer cut kit? I'm quite sure that is who made this. It was fun to build and put the suspension in it. It had 4 wheel steering and the Wheels came from panzerwerk, Steve. It is assigned to a new unit now. Had it a long time .

Looks really good Bill, was this a metal or plastic kit.

Charlie that is the one I sold you right after the build was complete. It was weathered a lot more when you got it.

Dave that was a plastic kit that I added the under carrage to. I think I was the first to do that. Got tired of seeing two steal rods with wheels on them lol.

It was fascinating to see what Bill did in the beginning, with the damage. Quite sure it's going to look like"new money".

Billy made a beautiful armored car rarely seen today. I was lucky to have it for awhile. Unfortunately, as is the case with 1/6 items, the shipping gorillas more often than not, went to great efforts considering Billy's great packing to damage what they could. This unit has now been transferred to a repair unit who can restore the damages with the quality work that is beyond my humble (forehead glued to the table kind of stuff) abilities. I bought 3 of Billy's sale vehicles, 2 arrived perfect. I guess 2 out of 3 isn't bad.

Can you share the photos of the repaired vehicle when done, would definitely like to the updates  

The craftsman that now owns it, takes his time but when finished, I'm sure he will post pics of the 222.
